China's Legendary Terracotta Army.

Do read up on my part 1 of my Xi'an journey series if u have missed it -Journey To Xi'an

When you visit Xi'an, one will never miss the most famous attraction, probably one of the crown jewels in China, The Terracotta Army. In fact the terracotta army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. This so called "secret treasure" was discovered in 1974 by local farmers here in Xi'an. The discovery site today had turned into a huge museum and has been drawing huge crowds from all over the world. The figures of terracotta warriors ranged from soldiers to archers and horses etc. We managed to book a one day tour guide from our hostel to the Terracotta Army expo museum. To me, it was an eye-opening experience which i will never forget.
